Between 17 and 21 February, Portimão returns to play Carnival through a set of initiatives, ranging from dances to matinees and mask competitions to parades and processions.

The highlights of the program belong to the parades of the floats scheduled for February 19 and 21, respectively, between the Figueira and Mexilhoeira Grande Multisport and the riverside area of Portimão, from 15:30.

Masquerade

The popular mask competitions, always scheduled for 9:30 pm, will take place on the following dates and collectives: 18 February - Qualifiers in Boa Esperança, Clube União Portimonense, Glória ou Morte and Sociedade Vencedora Portimonense; February 19 - Qualifiers at Clube Desportivo e Recreativo da Pedra Mourinha and February 20 - Qualifiers at Associação Cultural e Recreativa Alvorense 1st of December.
