Are pets accepted?

Pets are not allowed.

Do you have private parking?

Our unit does not have a private parking lot, however there is free public parking around our building and nearby.

Are pool towels provided?

Yes, they can be requested at reception by paying a deposit (in cash) of €10 per towel. The deposit will be refunded upon return of the towels in good condition and the presentation of the towel card.

You can change towels free of charge once every 4 nights, other changes cost €2 per towel.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in can be done from 3pm onwards. Check-out takes place until 11am.

Do you have a pool?

Yes, we have an outdoor pool for adults and children.

 

Where is the nearest beach?

Alvor beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve, is located 750 meters from our unit.

Are the apartments cleaned daily?

Our apartments are cleaned every day between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, except on Sundays and public holidays.

Is the reception always open?

Yes, our reception is open 24 hours a day.

Do you offer a restaurant service?

We have a snack bar next to the pool where we serve delicious quick meals, snacks and drinks. Open every day between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm from May to September.

Do all apartments have sea view?

Only the Studios South View, T1 Premium South View and T2 Premium Extra Large apartments face the sea.

However, most of the remaining apartments have partial sea view, and we have a sun terrace on the top floor with an open view to the sea, where you can sunbathe and relax.

Is there a laundry service?

There is a self-service laundry space where you can wash and dry your clothes for a cost of €10 (for each wash + dry).

We also have ironing boards at your disposal in the apartments and irons available at reception on request (free of charge).

Is smoking allowed at the unit or in the apartments?

Smoking is not permitted inside the apartments, as well as in all enclosed common spaces.

Is the unit suitable for families with children?

Yes, our unit has garden areas and an outdoor pool for children. The apartments are ideal for families with children of all ages.

How to book a transfer from the airport to AlvorMar?

We can organize your transfer from Faro Airport to our unit.

To do this, simply send us your Flight details, such as arrival time and flight number (Baggage policy 1 bag per person).

The return transfer must be booked at reception, preferably upon arrival, and at least 48 hours in advance your departure date.

What TV channels are available?

A wide range of channels are available in the apartments in all languages, from generic channels, sports, films/series and many more.

Since all of our televisions are Smart TVs, you can also use streaming platforms if you have an account.

In our Snack bar and Lounge area you can have access to paid sports channels such as Sport TV and Eleven Sports, where you can watch all kinds of sports events.

What are the pool’s opening hours?

The pool's opening hours change depending on the time of year.

Winter opening hours: 09AM – 06PM

Summer opening hours: 09AM – 08PM

Is it possible to have a late check-out or early check-in?

You can request an early check-in or a late check-out, however we cannot guarantee this service in advance, as it will depend on our availability on the day.

However, you will always have our Guest Room at your disposal. On your departure day if you plan to stay longer then the check-out time you can use the guest room to store your bags and schedule a time to take a shower.

What services and commerce are available nearby?

To the center of Alvor is a 2-minute walk, where you can find restaurants, shops, bars, etc., as well as a pharmacy, post office, bank and supermarket (Intermarché). The nearest beach is 750m from our unit and Portimão is approximately 10 minutes away by car.
