We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were so kind and welcoming. We were 10 minutes walk from the beach and 5 minutes walk from the main town or the supermarket. It was very nice to have a full kitchen to make food and the pool and the sun loungers were also great! When we checked out we also had the option to leave our luggage and shower if needed. Highly recommended!

Spotlessly clean, high standard hotel standard apartments. Very spacious, comfortable beds. Great Central location. Amazing staff especially the lady who worked at the snack bar who my boys adored. This property is beautiful and highly maintained, staff are professional and friendly. Location is perfectly in the middle of the town but it is surprisingly quiet and peaceful despite being so close to all activities.

Perfect location for everything. The main bus stop is just down the hill, so is the supermarket. The apartment was beautiful, very modern. It's cleaned every day. I slept on the sofa bed and it felt like I was in a proper bed!

We had a wonderful stay at the AlvorMar. The hotel is in a central location close to all amenities with a short walk to the beach. The apartment was superb - very clean and equipped with all we required. The staff were friendly and helpful.

AlvorMar is located 5 min walk from Alvor village center and about 15min from the beach. The property itself is excellent, so clean and well organised. Everything is so handy and staff are very nice - from the reception to cleaning ladies, facilities and ladies at the pool bar. Big shout out to Lourdes😊 it was so lovely to see you again. Absolutely excellent place to stay with family and friends. We were so happy to stay there again and it was our third time at the location. Highly recommend 🤗

Delighted to return to Alvor and stay again at AlvorMar. Love everything about these apartments. The apartments themselves all recently modernised have everything you would want, are spacious, great air conditioning and are kept exceptionally well. The communal areas are the same. All staff we met were friendly and professional. A very relaxing place to stay, no mad rushing nonsense for sun beds by the pool which is lovely. Less than 5 mins walk to a fabulous range of restaurants and shops including supermarket and 10-15 mins to beach. We will definitely be back for a 5th visit.

First time travellers to Portugal and we could not have found a better place to stay. So clean, comfy beds, excellent shower and well equipped kitchen etc. , also in the heart of beautiful restaurants and beaches. Excellent staff and cleaning services. Best situated hotel in Alvor - TripAdvisor 10/2021
We stayed at Alvor Mar at the end of September 2021. The hotel couldn't be closer to Alvor centre, mere minutes from all the bars and resturants that Alvor has to offer. Clean and with high Covid standards throughout. If you wanted to use the pool you would need to book in advance but that wasn't a problem for us. Lovely room that had a well stocked kitchen if you wanted to cook for yourself and were cleaned daily except Sundays. So good we've already booked to come back next September!!

These apartments are stunning inside and out! We had a two bed at the top of the apartments,the rooms were spotless the kitchen had everything you needed and more! Beds were very comfortable, lovely views. Staff were so kind and helpful. The location could not have been better!!Can't wait to go back

Perfect location, great value and super clean. The staff are super friendly and go above and beyond. Everything you need only a short stroll away and the variety of shops and restaurants is fantastic! Came here 23 years ago, heavily pregnant with a 1 year old in tow, and was impressed then. This time I travelled from Australia with my teenage daughter, to surprise my sister in law for her birthday. Worked perfectly <3 The renovated rooms are modern, bright and equipped with everything you would need. A perfect break to relax, lay by the pool or up on the terrace, and enjoy the Alvor hospitality. Very happy :))

Stayed there in August and it was perfect. Very clean and comfortable, We were on level 3 where there is a lovely rooftop terrace with sun lounges overlooking the town and it was lovely and quiet up there, bottom level has the pool for kids with seating area and a snack bar. It’s about 10min walk from beach (straightforward) and 2min walk to the strip 3min to harbour Would highly recommend these apartments

If your looking for somewhere central to stay, which is great value for money and has brilliant apartments then look no further. Staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. Pool is great for the kids with plenty of sunbeds and the roof top terrace is lovely. The upgraded apartments are well worth the money, well furnished and fully equipped. Having travelled with a seven month old baby the staff provided us with a highchair, cot bed and baby bath at no extra cost. Reception staff are friendly and can help you book a number of excursions and transfers if required. We would highly recommend the Alvormar and would be happy to return in the future.

St Patrick's Day Weekend Break - Tripadvisor 03/2019
This is my 3rd time to stay in AlvorMar apartments, we stayed for a long weekend in March over St.Patricks Day, apartments have been newly decorated and are very spacious, the weather this year was fabulous so spent time by the pool and roof terrace. Staff are very friendly and you can get a great per night rate for these apartments if booked early enough, they are within walking distance of the local restaurant's and bars which is great, hairdresser also located right door next which is very handy too

Fantastic hidden gem with an amazing rooftop sun deck overlooking the sea.......Great for self caterig with a fully equipped kitchen Supermarket and local market a short stroll away..loved the village atmosphere.Staff were informative and courteous ....Our room was absolutely spotless with a lovely terrace.We will definitely be back!!

Perfect location with only a few minutes walk to town and only a 10 min walk to the beach. We stayed in a newly refurbished apartment on the 2nd floor with a sea view. It was a lovely space with everything you need and a furnished balcony. We went to the beach every day but there were always beds available around the small pool or up on the sunbathing roof terrace. I wouldn’t hesitate to book a stay here.

A three star apartment hotel but five star quality. We stayed two weeks and our one bedroom apartment on the top floor was spacious and well furnished. The hotel is in the centre of Alvor but is quiet with easy access to beach and other amenities. Our room was spotlessly clean and there is a maid service six days a week. All the staff are pleasant and very helpful. The room rates are moderate and generally offers great value.

The Alvormar apartments have really raised their game. The top three floors have been renovated and the apartments are now smashing - spacious, light and fully furnished with all mod cons. If you take into account the prime location and the fact there is now a sun-deck (with great sea views) on the top floor, this is a great choice for your Alvor stay!

Love Alvormar. Love the location, 5 mins to shops, bars, restaurants and what a great choice of fabulous restaurants, 10+ mins to beautiful beach with lots of sun loungers available for hire and the boardwalk. Loved the apartment. We booked a premium apt, it was fab, newly refurbished, fantastic shower. Staff here are all lovely and extremely helpful. We booked our transfer from Faro through Alvormar, stress free and good value. Swimming pool small but never too busy, sun loungers always available. No complaints at all, looking forward to returning.

Localização, perto de restaurantes, lojas e da praia. Simpatia e eficiência dos funcionários. Limpeza do espaço (piscina, apartamento e áreas comuns). Piscina, apesar de pequena, ótima para crianças. Bar na zona da piscina, muito útil. Bom sinal de wifi. Tv com vários canais, incluindo para crianças. Apartamento com boas áreas e varandas. Caixotes de reciclagem em diversas áreas (ótima ideia).

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the roof top terrace and made great use of the library. The cleaning staff never stopped from day 1 of our stay. Location is perfect. We will be back.

Excepcional
The newly refurbished apartments were amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful and the pool was brilliant and the snack bar was to everybody’s taste and the lady was so pleasant that made the food. The cleaners came in every day and u wouldn’t even know they had been except the fact that your bed was made and you had clean towels. Icould not fault any part of my stay and I would definitely go back again.

We stayed in Alvormar for the last 2 weeks. It was our first holiday with 8 month old baby. The apt was great. Newly renovated and immaculately clean. The staff were excellent, professional and really understanding with every request. Nice pool area and very central. Would definitely recommend.

Spent a week in AlvorMar apartments, we were in one of the superior rooms on the second floor. The appointment was lovely. The location is brilliant, it’s about 3 mins away from the main streets in Alvor. Loads of restaurants of bars. I would definitely recommend staying here.

6th Visit - Tripadvisor - 15/05/2018
Just returned from our 6th visit to the Alvormar, this time stayed in a one bedroom premium apartment. Our 17 year old daughter slept in the bedroom, my wife and I slept on the sofa bed, my daughter is a typical 17 yo and not an early riser. The bed settee was perfectly adequate. The standard of the premium apartments is pretty good, and a big step up from the standard apartments, which are a little tired. The Alvormar is very clean, with clean towels 6 days per week, the pool bar is good value and very friendly. The reception ship are very helpful, we had an ant issue on one day that was dealt with in minutes. We have already booked our 7th visit, been back one day and I am counting the days
